I Can Do This

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this plays in my head all the days of my life, Why? Because that was me most the days of my life. I wasn’t crying out or begging for the pain and struggle to go away, no I was strengthening myself, I was putting my heart and my mind in the same range. Talk about working out in the gym, mentally I was doing push ups, trying to escape life. I have encountered numerous challenges and faced battles against the forces of darkness. But I refuse to give up. I have emerged victorious in the past, but I am aware that the war is far from over. There are still many of my people, fellow black individuals, who remain unaware of the enemy’s cunning tricks and snares aimed at wiping us out entirely. It is my duty to stand tall, to stay awake, and to fight for our collective liberation. I will not be silenced or discouraged. I will continue to educate myself, seek support, and find strength in my community. Together, we will overcome. Together, we will thrive.I can do this, nothing is too big for me.
